Microsoft is working on improving the Windows 11 tablet experience, or rather restoring some of the original tablet mode options. The latest tip from @thebookisclosed is that they are planning to offer an option to "Automatically hide the taskbar when using your device as a tablet" to enhance the way users interact with the taskbar. In addition, Windows 11 will also bring better resource optimization and recycling mechanisms.

However, no one knows exactly when these features will be available for all users, but it is still in the early stages of development. Microsoft is preparing to release the first major update for Windows 11, and the first preview users are expected to receive the update as soon as this month.

The update will include a public preview of Android apps on Windows 11, giving users the opportunity to run apps built for Google's mobile OS on their desktops.

Until now, this feature has been a Windows Insiders-only setting and has been limited to a limited number of apps. In addition, Microsoft is bringing a number of feature updates, including additional taskbar improvements.

When Microsoft announced the new Windows 11 update last month, it said, "Next month, we're bringing a whole new experience to Windows, including a public preview of how Android apps can be used on Windows 11 through the Microsoft Store and our partnerships with Amazon and Intel, improvements to the taskbar including call mute and unmute, easier window sharing and bringing weather to the taskbar, and the introduction of two new redesigned apps, Notepad and Media Player.
