We already have some idea of what's in store for the 22H2 update. Windows 11 22H2 will improve Windows 11's existing interfaces such as the Start menu, Control Center/Notifications, native applications such as MS Paint, Windows Settings, the Taskbar desktop and other areas of the operating system, and more.

Windows 11 22H2 will also bring the return of drag-and-drop fixed application icons in the taskbar, and Windows 11 will welcome a new Task Manager.

Currently, Microsoft is already testing a development version of Windows 11 22H2. If you join the Insider channel, you can get access to various branches of the beta. Of course, this requires you to have some computer knowledge and these versions are not suitable for everyday use.

The development versions of Windows 11 that exist among the Insider channel are prepared for the official build of Windows 11, and most of the application updates that will appear in future official Windows 11 releases will also appear in these development systems, but these versions will also have bugs that need to be found and fed back by testers.

The development preview of Windows 11 Build 22567.100 (KB5012427), codenamed 22H2, was found to have no major changes, as it is a cumulative update.
