windows 11

Build 22000.588 includes a feature improvement. This release supports the simultaneous display of up to three high-priority Toast notifications, which works for applications that use Windows Notifications in the operating system to send call, reminder, or alert notifications.

Therefore, after updating to this version, up to four toast notifications may appear at the same time -- three high-priority notifications and one normal-priority notification.

Fixes in Windows 11 Build 22000.588

  • Fixes an issue that caused UWP apps to turn off auto-start after upgrading the OS.
  • Fixed an issue that caused SystemSettings.exe to stop working.
  • Fixes an issue that affected searchindexer.exe and prevented Microsoft Outlook's offline search from returning recent emails.
  • Fixed an issue that affected Windows startup speed. This issue occurred because the UI threads in the Network API stopped responding when 5G Wireless Wide Area Network (WWAN) devices were slow to wake up.
  • Fixed a memory leak in the wmipicmp.dll module that caused a large number of false alarms in the System Center Operations Manager (SCOM) data center monitoring system.
  • Fixes an issue that incorrectly returned enforcement policy settings from the registry.
  • Fixed an issue with modern browsers not rendering HTML generated by gpresult / h correctly.
  • Fixed an issue that caused files to show "access denied" exceptions during AppLocker's PowerShell testing.
  • Fixed an issue that caused the Remote Desktop Services (RDS) server to become unstable when the number of logged-in users exceeded 100. This would prevent users from accessing published applications using RDS on Windows Server 2019.
  • Fixed an issue that returned an error message when a user browsed to a domain or organizational unit (OU) due to improper memory zeroing.
  • Fixes an issue that caused the Group Policy Management Console to stop working after a user shutdown. The system logs application error event ID 1000 and error 0xc0000005 (STATUS_ACCESS_VIOLATION); the failed module is GPOAdmin.dll.
  • Fixes an issue that could cause the Group Policy service to stop processing telemetry information for Group Policy registry preferences.
  • Fixes a stop error in the DirectX kernel component (0xD1, DRIVER_IRQL_NOT_LESS_OR_EQUAL).
  • Fixes an issue that could cause Kerberos.dll to stop working in the Local Security Agency Subsystem Service (LSASS). This occurred when LSASS processed simultaneous User Service (S4U) user-to-user (U2U) requests for the same client user.
  • Fixes an issue affecting the Key Distribution Center (KDC) agent, which does not properly obtain Kerberos credentials for logging in to Trusted Windows Hello Enterprise Edition.
  • Added support for Microsoft Account (MSA) direct pass scenarios in Azure Active Directory (AAD) Web Account Manager (WAM).
  • Fixed an issue with logging Event ID 37 during certain password change scenarios, including failover Cluster Name Object (CNO) or Virtual Computer Object (VCO) password changes.
  • Fixed an issue preventing the UAC dialog from properly displaying applications requesting elevated privileges.
  • Fixed an issue that could cause focus to be lost after renaming a OneDrive file and pressing Enter.
  • When users search for word widgets, they will be able to return to the appropriate settings page.
  • Fixed an issue that prevented Event 4739 from displaying new values for certain properties after a policy change.
  • Fixes an issue that caused the Move-ADObject command to fail when moving computer accounts across domains. The error message was "Multiple values were specified for an attribute that can only have one value".
  • Fixed an issue that prevented users from accessing server message block (SMB) shares with IP addresses when SMB enhancement was enabled.
  • Fixes an issue that causes a stop error 0x1E in the SMB server (srv2.sys).
  • Fixes an issue that caused NetBIOS and DNS Active Directory domain names to mismatch when creating a cluster.
