Solution to Invalid parameter or Information Code: 4161 encountered when you perform file sync or restore task with AOMEI Backupper.

Introduction:

Sometimes, when you do the file sync or restore, you may encounter error code 4161: “The destination path is not writable, please select a new path..”

Syncing is initializing...

Getting the file information...

Scanning the authority files...

Trying to create snapshots...

Syncing the files...

Syncing files is done.

Information Code:4161

The destination path is not writable, please select a new path.

Solutions:

1. Please make sure the user account you log in to has the access privilege to the destination path. You can check if you are able to create a file on the destination drive.

2. If you sync file to an external disk, please check if the external disk is hooked up. Please re-insert it and try again. And, please make sure that the drive letter of the external disk doesn't change.

3. If you sync to NAS, please reconnect the NAS. Maybe the NAS is disconnected for some reason.
