Step 1. Connect the device containing the copies, if necessary, and open its folder in File Explorer. Check filenames, modification dates, and open it to confirm you have the right version.
Step 2. Select the files or folders and press Ctrl + C. Open a destination folder on your computer or another drive, then press Ctrl + V. Use Copy rather than Cut so the existing copies remain available.
Open the copied files to verify and keep them on the unaffected drive until you have recovered everything you need.

File History saves multiple versions of protected files to a backup drive or network location. It can help with Samsung T7 data recovery if its existing backups contain the missing files.
