Can I add the drivers to Win PE created by AOMEI Products? The answer is yes. If you want to add other drivers to Win PE, just do it.
When you boot the computer from AOMEI Backupper bootable media, you may find that your wireless keyboard, mouse, USB devices, NAS and some other kinds of devices are not available to use. In this case, you may need to add the driver to the AOMEI Backupper bootable media.
You may have experienced that when you add a new external device to the computer, Windows Device Manager will inform you that it is detecting this device and then installing the driver. Only after that, your device will be available to use. In fact, the Windows operating system firmware only includes a few frequently-used drivers and they may not be compatible with your device.
AOMEI Backupper WinPE bootable media is created based on the original Windows copy. If the original copy of Windows is not compatible with your device, the AOMEI bootable media will be the same.
If you want to add additional drivers to the bootable disc, you may have to recreate AOMEI Backupper recovery disc. Here we go:
1. Download the proper driver package from the Internet and then extract it to a proper place for later use.
Note: Don't extract the driver file under your Windows installation directory.
2. Run AOMEI Backupper. Then select Tools > Create Bootable Media.
3. Specify storage medium. You can insert a storage medium as a container or directly generate ampe.iso.
4. Click the "Add Driver" button. Next, navigate to the directory where you extracted the driver, then open the necessary file.
5. Now you come back to the Create Bootable Media interface, click Create, and the program will immediately start creating WinPE.
