Backup the most important files of the drive and run checkdisk /R on all the drive's partition first (i.e. chkdsk C: /R)
This may take a very long time, but after that you should be able to clone the drive.

You did not say which ASUS router you are using. As far as I know, some of them need drivers installed before you can access the attached hard drive. Its not the standard SMB connection as required by the Backupper.

I confirm, the issue is solved in 4.0.3
-
Do you have any other partitioning/cloning software installed?

I've already reported this problem months ago. The sorting is not "date" based but "text" based. It does not take the regional settings in to account. This is an old bug.

From my side: yes, you are right.
The system backup does not backup additional partitions you might have. It backups only the boot and system partition. (depending on which operating system you back up)BTW the question was in System versus disk backup Comment by SelfMan March 2017

Did you reboot the system?

I have to wait for the next full backup round. Then I will send you the logs.

Hi Flyer, that is not the point here. Its common practice that scheduled tasks of this type are queued in cases where they overlap. In here, its simply a bug in the queueing code which needs to be fixed.

@lcooper - yes the file belongs to the lang directory. What language is your installation set to? Oh and BTW, this text file is from the Backupper Tech Plus edition.
I've analyzed both emails and the only difference between them is that the "HTML" mail has a <br/> tag instead of a \r\n (new line)
PROBLEM SOLVED!
The issue is within the translation file where the new line is created by \n and not by \r\n.
Some SMTP servers dont like the plain \n new line character and fail to send the mail.more in AOMEI Backupper Standard- Notification mail not sent Comment by SelfMan January 2017
@cooper !!! YOU ARE MY HERO! YOU'VE GOT IT RIGHT!
I've made a test, where I changed the line from the test message:
11076=Welcome to use AOMEI Backupper Email…
Oh I wrote "I have not" but wanted to write "I have now" (sorry for the confusion...
I have not tested a different SMTP server and gues what, this time the mail was sent!
I still cant get my head around the fact, that the test message is successfull but the report is not. WHERE is the difference here when sending the mail. When the mail gets in to the spam folder, it already passed the SMTP communication. Thats just a content filtering issue on your mailserver. My problem is that it simply isnt delivered at all BUT the test message is. I did several test and I can …
Nope, in the few cases where there were bad blocks, the backupper did not skip the bad places but reported an read error or just did not clone the drive at all. But as I said, its not a Backupper problem if the drive is failing.
I've cloned over 25 systems in different scenarios. Most of them HDD to SSD. Size wise mostly 512GB to 256 or 512GB. (price matters). All sucessfull.
I've had some issues with older drives which had bad sectors and while donsizing the clone,…I upgraded some systems to 4.02 and guys, I am not happy with the result. The custom SMTP mailserver is still NOT WORKING. The AOMEI server option is. So it begs the question - are you colecting and analyzing the log files or WTH is going on???
The backup "clean up" is a part of the commercial Pro version. In the free version you have to do it manually.
As for the first problem, you can solve it with a very easy solution - create a alias/distribution group and send the report to t…
Try to export the PST to network share.
Try some of the suggestions mentioned in this post:

I've checked the backup, it seems to be ok, but still.. a event log full of error is not what I want.
FYI: I have deleted all the incremental backup files and done a new Incremental backup which I was then able to mount. No Idea why the previous 3 incrementals could not be mounted, but now its working.
Oh that way you mean. Nope did not work either. Still I was able to mount a System backup ( C:\ drive) from the same source. The partition backup (D:\ drive) not so much. After some experimenting I found out the following:
System backup - I…
Please can you explain what you mean by " try to map it to the virtual partition"?
There is no way to do that. The backup has over 600GB (incremental) and there is not enough space on the local drive.
The HTML mail didnt work before. it does not have the approprate encoding and thus not working. I sugget you stick wit the TXT version and modify the C:\Program Files\AOMEI Backupper\lang\en.txt or C:\Program Files (x86)\AOMEI Backupper\lang\en.t…
I am on Aomei Backuper 3.5 Technician. The backup image is still not explorable.
