The backup "clean up" is a part of the commercial Pro version. In the free version you have to do it manually.
As for the first problem, you can solve it with a very easy solution - create a alias/distribution group and send the report to t…

I've checked the backup, it seems to be ok, but still.. a event log full of error is not what I want.

FYI: I have deleted all the incremental backup files and done a new Incremental backup which I was then able to mount. No Idea why the previous 3 incrementals could not be mounted, but now its working.

Oh that way you mean. Nope did not work either. Still I was able to mount a System backup ( C:\ drive) from the same source. The partition backup (D:\ drive) not so much. After some experimenting I found out the following:
System backup - I…

Please can you explain what you mean by " try to map it to the virtual partition"?
-
There is no way to do that. The backup has over 600GB (incremental) and there is not enough space on the local drive.

The HTML mail didnt work before. it does not have the approprate encoding and thus not working. I sugget you stick wit the TXT version and modify the C:\Program Files\AOMEI Backupper\lang\en.txt or C:\Program Files (x86)\AOMEI Backupper\lang\en.t…

I am on Aomei Backuper 3.5 Technician. The backup image is still not explorable.

@MichelG - if you backup the whole partition, you dont have to take care about that. The truecrypt data storage file is for the filesystem a file as any other. You can b…

You are not alone with this issue. On all my servers/computers the test mail ist sent properly but the job notification isnt. To get temporarily around, use AOMEI's server. That oneis working. (dont ask me why). I had this notification issue sinc…

You should really specify a point in time where you have to make atleast a bugfix release.
Its not that important to get new features as it is to have those available working!Sorry guys, but I am waiting for the the mail notification …

Create a bootable media (USB preferred) in the Utilities submenu. Test if you can boot from it. Shutdown the computer and replace the HDD with the SSD. Put the HDD in a enclosure box like this one in Perform a HDD to SSD migration on a laptop Comment by SelfMan June 2016

Hi WebMaximus, the spacemagement is not very user friendly. I had my trouble with it.
First of all, dont expect the scheduler to do its job when you are not logged on. That needs a manual update of the job in the task scheduler. The sheduler… -
This really needs a Early access programm.
As one wise developer said - it will never be completely fixed. Release what you already fixed and publish a list of known problems to be yet fixed. Then fix them one by one.

Dear Admin, its more than a month since you you said that the issue was resolved. BUT we would like to have the fixed version installed. I think I can speak for all here that its about time the fixed version is released. Its not working for 5 mon…

The issue is that the system does not know where to boot from. You should be able to boot from a Windows installation disk but go to the Repair your computer menu where you can repair the system's boot information.
Run CMD as administrator and execute: sfc /scannow
FYI - for the future - next time you do change the partitions, ALLWAYS make a backup.
my +1 on the 3rd suggestion
Ok, here is some additional Info i've discovered. I have a 500GB SSD with 3 partitions.
0) System reserved, 1) System, 2) Data. I have 2 configured backups. a) system backup (part 0 and 1) and b) partition backup (2).
I found out that…
The proces of mounting an image is working just fine. THe problem is that when I try to access the mapped drive, I am not able to. It behaves like a unformatted drive.
And no, I did not get further.
It was just a test to circumvent the problem. I have a Win7 32bit setup. So I dont think its 64bit related.. I just hope that the new version gets released soon.
Similar problem here. Drive attaches but windows wants to format the drive as it can not find the filesystem. I've tried to map the diskstation folder as Z:\ and open the adi through there, but it didn't work. I've tried to "downgrade" the SMB pr…
@JohnnyboyGo- this aint gonna help me. I know the features. Still, thanks for the good intention.
Mode 2 nor mode 1 do sent the test mail. The only test mail sent is the custom smtp one. But again, that one is not used by the backupper to send the status report.
You really should think about a solution for individual file recovery from failed backup image file.
Hi there. You've missed the point. The original harddrive has failed and is inaccessible.
The only data available are in the failed backup file. There must be some way to fix the file headers and the file ending so the backupper can open it…
