I found out what the problem is. AOMEI is not compatible with other partitionI did an entire drive search for files LENOVO_DDATA_EXTVOL1_F. The file LENOVO_DDATA_EXTVOL1_F 3/12/21 as listed in the first screen shot in my original post does not appear even tho it is listed at the aomei home backup page. The other LENOVO…PS the file is saved to a western digital external drive with no problems and the drive letters are the same for both the program and the drive.

There is no exisiting task that matches either the base backup or 3 subsequent differential backups.
So there is nothing to delete.
The image files are all checked after they are made as ok.
