Failed to send Email using AOMEI system

Quick preface, I've been looking for a lower cost alternative for my clients, individuals and small business less than 5 people. 

I'm very happry so far with the program but the last install on a Windows 8 Dell desktop PC will not send an Email using the AOMEI email system. There dosen't appear to be any error code. Are there any ports that need to be opened for this? 

Or is there other methods to determin the problem>?
