Cloning speed decreases (900 MB/s -> 20 MB/s)

Backup Profesional is hardly usable, I really don't recommend it. I am not the first with this problem, no one solves it. I am cloning a 2TB SSD to 4TB. The copy starts at 900 MB/s (its ok, 10 Gbit USB), after an hour I am at 20 MB/s and the speed continues to slow down every second! Moreover, the program falsely shows a speed of 130 MB/s, although the data is accruing at 30 MB/s (which is what the task manager shows). I have to do a negative review of this product on my youtube channel, this really doesn't work (if you have a blank disk, just the system, it worked). If I copy data normally in windows, the speed is about 500 MB/s all the time. Probably a problem with some kind of cache? Don't buy! (I've been a network administrator for 25 years, I fully understand the transmission speeds etc)

    Thank you for your feedback, Paveljanicek, much appreciated. I get 500 - 900 MB/s consistant speed from beginning to end with Backupper & Partition Assistant. You could try the WinPE USB Drive version. Or, you could use Clonezilla, if you want to try something else.
    Please reply with the model # of your Source & Destination disks.
    Feedback like yours is always important when someone is unsatisfied, so thank you again.
    Backupper WinPE USB:
    https://www.ubackup.com/help/create-bootable-disk.html
    Add custom drivers, such as NVMe, if necessary. Does not work on some Monitors.
    Free tool not from Aomei:
    Clonezilla - non-GUI cloning USB
    https://clonezilla.org/downloads.php
    If the source disk has Bad Sectors, use Expert Mode > "-rescue" option to continue cloning all readable sectors

  • @Paveljanicek, Please run chkdsk /r command to check and fix source partitions, and then do the clone again.
