Files set as read-only on cloned disk

I cloned my Windows 11 disk to another internal hard disk. Shutdown, removed the old disk and booted into the new one with no problems. However, I ran an installer which failed and when I investigated, I realised that most of the files on the cloned disk are set to read-only, including what looks like all of the Program Files directories and also AppData/Local/Temp, which is what the installer was trying to access. This doesn't seem correct but before I try and reset all of them from powershell, I wondered if I need to do something with Backupper to unlock these files?

It seems like this is a Windows thing that I have never noticed before and the problem with the installer was nothing to do with the Temp directory but instead a broken c:\windows\installer directory!

Thank you for this question, Lukiebriner. What is the name of the program are you trying to install on your new disk? Does this error happen when you install the program on your old disk?

@Lukiebriner, System/Disk Clone is a sector-level operation. it doesn't lock any files. Please try to boot from the source disk and check if you will also have the issue.
