    ESET reports this when checking the file PAssist_Setup_20240823.13771818.exe .

    I have sent this file to ESET reporting this as a probable false positive. Testing the file using the following URL


    reports that only ESET reports a detection.

    Thank you Rudolf, that is likely a false positive. Could you please reply with which version of Partition Assistant is that?
  • Partition Assistant 10.4.2 . The latest version currently available.

  • @rudolfb AOMEI Partition Assistant integrated data recovery (MyRecovery) feature. But, MyRecover is to provide a data recovery function. It only provides a data recovery function, there are no hidden services or gray features, so please feel free to use it. You can use ESET's “Exclude signatures from detection” feature to exclude this file: to prevent detected files from being interrupted on your computer in the future, click Advanced Settings and check the checkbox next to “Exclude from detection”, then click “Ignore “.
    Also, we will actively communicate with eset to resolve this tip.
    Alternatively, if you don't need to use the data recovery feature, we can provide you with an older version. This older version does not yet have the data recovery feature integrated.
