changing os from one disk to another.

I have my Win 7 on a 1gig HD. win10 on my second drive a ssd. how to swap the two? I have a blank 1gig HD connected with USB 3 and a 500 g usb3 portable HD.Every thing I try will wipe out destination drive. Any thoughts? Oh ya I'm using AOMEI free.

    Grossr,

    If the contents of the Win 10 drive will fit on your spare drive, do a full disk backup onto that spare drive.  Then clone your Windows 7 installation to the original drive with Windows 10.  Then restore from the backup drive containing Windows 10 to the drive originally containing Windows 7.  You'll need to ensure that you allow partitions to resize to fill the drive space.
