Hello Prince, I understand you want to clone disks.
A disk with Windows on it is called a System Disk. A disk that has only your documents data on it, but does not have Windows on it, is called a Data Disk. When you are cloning a System Disk, please use System Clone type.
Alternatively, you could also create a System Backup image.adi file, and then later restore that file to a disk.
"I'm confused with the options SSD Alignment vs. Sector by Sector Clone?"
SSD Alignment is just an option you can choose when your destination disk is an SSD, that likely only has a small effect on speed. Exact-Sector-By-Sector setting is an advanced setting that you do not have to use now.
Before cloning, please always confirm your source disk Partition Table type MBR/GPT matches the destination disk Partition Table type MBR/GPT. If they do not match, you may convert the destination disk Partition Table type in Partition Assistant.
Thank you AiArtisan. This information has been most helpful. However, I'm having some difficulty doing a restore of a SDD System Disk backup to a HDD. Because they are two different drives is this why? Further help would be most appreciative. Thanks!
