Backupper,- Internet connection required?
Hello,
Concerning Backupper free.
Im evaluating backup software for win 7 , 10 ,11.
i notice AOMEI backupper crashing / exiting during restore due to no internet connection available.
(fibermodem poweroff)
The software tries 0.0.0.0 and some, and then exits or crashes.
I have to switch of the power to the pc to restart - no image restore did occur.
I depend on systems without internet connections beeing IT tech.
Imo:
ANY external connections should not perform during boot process, unless stated by the user. (I could not find configurations)
-If update connections are required - this should be done from the windows enviroment.
2 questions:
1 Is an internet connection required for my local imaging during PE?
2 And if so - why ??
Productupdates and connections should not perform during boot process, il want to update within the windows enviroment, and not during PE wich is totally not called for in terms of security concerns.
