Inacessible boot devide after system clone - Backupper Pro

Hi.

I tried cloning an 'old' mechanical 3.5-inch HDD on a new MVne.
I created a USB stick , cloned it and on reboot I got the error in question.
The peculiar thing is that Windows reboots three times--always with the same error--then it gives me the option to boot the system in provvsiory mode and from there then, on the next reboot, everything works normally.
Is there any way to avoid this and have a 'normal' boot after cloning?

It would then be a great thing if the system gave info on the make and model of the disks in use.
If, as in my case, they are both of the same capacity and the target disk is not formatted, how do we figure out which is the source and recipient of the process?
You risk ruining everything!

Thank you for your attention and help, Stefano.

    "MVne"
Please tell us more about that.
    "provvsiory mode"
I don't know what that is.

"how do we figure out which is the source and recipient of the process?"
There are many ways to do that, one way is to write down the UUID # of the disk.
Cmd > Diskpart > uni id
Please reply with the answers to:
    1) Which motherboard mode Legacy-BIOS, UEFI-CSM, UEFI-nonCSM?

  • @Losteno, Your system can boot normally now? or still need to boot from advance mode?
"It would then be a great thing if the system gave info on the make and model of the disks in use."---We will optimize it after.
  • Source:
    SSD is a SAMSUNG 870QVO (1tb)
    Destination:
    MVNE KINGSTONE SNV2S1000G (1tb)

After three starts in safe mode, it booted normally.
I reiterate the fact that it would be helpful to have the make and model of the disk available from the software.
As mentioned above, if as in this case, the two disks have the same capacity and you start cloning with the target disk unformatted, how do you figure out which of the two is the one to clone??!
I specify that both the SSD and MVNE have the latest updated firmware.

    Regards, Stefano
  • I think I've solved the problem.
I tried cloning again by running the software not from the flash drive and used not 'clone disk' but 'clone system' and magically on reboot everything started correctly.
