How can I recover a system backup that I accidentally deleted?

Type your mI accidentally deleted the system backup I had taken. I tried restoring it with some data recovery software. However, the programs could not find the file. I think this is due to the file extension (.adi). Can you help me with this?essage

  • The best recovery software I know is EaseUS Recovery.
The free trial version - years ago - could recover 1 GB data for free.
I do not know, whether the current version still does.
But a system backup could be have more than 1 GB.
A file extension in good recovery software is not a topic at all.
But just easily deleted some good software should be easy able to to recover it also.
EaseUS is usually special for hard to recover things.

What data recovery software did you use?
Partition Assistant has some data recovery features.
Please make sure File Explorer is showing Hidden items.
    Partition Assistant WinPE USB:
Add custom drivers, such as NVMe, if necessary.
    https://www.diskpart.com/help/make-bootable-cd-wizard.html
    Free tools not from Aomei:
Hirens Boot PE - live USB tool suite
    https://www.hirensbootcd.org
160 utilities, old BU 6.5.1, PA 9.2.1. Put custom drivers, such as NVMe drivers, into the “CustomDrivers” folder. Hirens is not recommended in combination with Ventoy USB.
    Test Disk - Data Recovery
    Recuva - Data Recovery

    Stellar Data Recovery
    Everything - Search Tool
Please use caution, you can find your files, but it also gives you the option of moving or deleting them.
