Server completely freezes: Startup PdhService Failed

I'm trying to save a whole disk to an external hard disk. After a few minutes, the system freezes completely. I have to hard reboot it and of course the backup fails.

In the log, before it freezes:

[Error]Startup PdhService Failed.

Windows Server 2012, AOMEI Backupper Server Edition 7.3.2
