Aomei backupper automatic update never finishes

When i log into Aomei backupper it pops up a dialog box indicating that the version of Aomei backupper that i'm using is out of date and asks me if i want to upate. i click the ok button and it starts downloading the update, but it never finishes, it always gets stuck at around 35%.i have to just cancel it after an hour. I have a very fast ISP connection (1 gig) so the download part should take less than a minute at most.  there is a button that says to download manually but when i click on that, it downloads a "trial" edition. It does download the trial edition in about 20 seconds so i know the connection is not the issue.

I have the same problem, the software is incapable of downloading its own update, it never has. I always have to manually download and then have to reset the licensing.

I have had this problem too, and I solved it by keeping current version installed, and installing with new Pro version, it keeps license.
