Backupper Sync OneDrive LOCAL files (not cloud)

Hopefully someone has experience to help with this.
Product: Backupper.  Fetaure: Simple Sync.  Configuration: Local C drive Documents to external Hard Drive D drive
Background: OneDrive has feature called sync on demand.  Files are either (1) on cloud only or (2) On cloud and ALSO saved locally on hard drive.  My query is regarding files that are on cloud and also saved locally on hard drive.  So there is a copy of the files saved locally on C drive.

Issue: Backupper doesn't find any files to backup.  It occasionally (and randomly) creates the folders but no files are backed up.
Anyone?  Please?

    Here is the source.  Files are in the Documents folder on the C drive.  They have a One Drive sync status "Available on this device" as indicated by the green tick.

    @MikeinCairns, Did you mean that the sync task ran successfully, but no files were synced? Please contact the support team via email, and offer the screenshots of source and destination directory, and the log folder under installation directory of AOMEI Backupper to analyze.
