Hi,

Is there a way to disable AOMEI Backupper checking for updates and pop up for the update for the portable version?

    I understand you would like to disable update notification popup in the Portable Version of BackUpper (BU). I'm sure the admin will have the answer for you on that, but could I please ask why you would want to continue to use the old versions? On Partition Assistant (PA), I could understand that, the new version graphics and layout leave room for improvement.

    Hi AiArtisan, thanks for your reply. We supply laptops for rental basis and are restored on a daily basis using AOMEI Backupper portable version. Once a quarter we update our master image which includes updates for Windows and other software. We also update Backupper portable version as well. Issue with the pop up is that it prompts to upgrade and if accepted , AOMEI backupper is installed on the machines and our restore script breaks. It also confuses our end users with the pop up.
