Backup using event trigger "System Shutdown" runs each time at power down

Hi,

I have configured a backup which starts using the event trigger "System Shutdown" and it should run only once a day. But each time I shut down my PC manually the Backupper starts before to perform the Backup and a new backup file is created. As you can see the check box "Run one time every day" (in german "jeden Tag einmal ausführen") is checked.

I know this is not big problem and the most other users have a opposite problem, that the backup will not start at shut down.

What can I do to resolve this issue?

@Hapeess, Could you offer the log folder under the installation directory of AOMEI Backupper so that we check the problem further?

Hi,

thank you, for your response. Sorry, in the meantime I found my mistake. I forgot to deactivate the post-command C:\Windows\System32\shutdown.exe from my previous schedule plan. Now it works as it should: Only backup a day after shutdown.
