Scheduled Monthly Backups
I am trying to setup the following backup scheme:
Create a FULL backup on the 1st of each month, and
an INCREMENTAL backup every other day till the end of the month.
(So a backup set will contain a full backup, and 28, 30 or 31 incrementals, depending on the length of the month).
I cannot see a way to force a new backup set to start on the 1st day of the month?
Sure I can just specity the backup set to have a full backup with 30 incrementals, but that dosen't guarantee the full backups will be on 1 Jan, 1Feb , 1 Mar....
