Cloning ERROR "The partition table on the disk failed to update"

hello everyone,

I did a sector by sector clone of a faulty 2TB Bitlocker enrypted HDD. Data moving was complete than I received this Error:

The partition table on the disk failed to update as other programs locked the partition table, please close other programs and retry.

I closed all programmes but I was not able to retry and repeat the process...I shows an unformated drive.

Is an easy way to retry this process without repeat the whole process (3days of data moving)?
how can I backup just the partition table? Can I try restore partition on the cloned drive in this case?

@Synthvelli, "a faulty 2TB Bitlocker enrypted HDD"---What error is there on the HDD?
Could you try to close Bitlocker and then try to clone again? Sorry that clone will re-start cloning all data.

For Disk Clone method with exact / sector-by-sector setting, I recommend using Partition Assistant, because only it will copy the Partition Table MBR/GPT; Backupper does not copy that, even with sector setting.

If doing this operation inside of Windows may be causing an error, please instead use the USB method below.
