Add Recovery Boot Media creation to Centralized Backupper

Currently in order to perform a bare metal restore utilizing Centralized Backupper, you must download and install a trial version of non-centralized backupper and create a recovery boot media from there.

The boot media this creates shows branding for non-centralized backupper, is in a trial state, and has purchase buttons for the non-centralized backupper product.

As an MSP, it would be much preferable for the Centralized Backupper console on the backup server itself to contain a link to download/create the boot media directly, and the boot media should be specific to centralized backupper with the extra features of the non-centralized backupper removed.  In the current state, it seems like we must offer customers an incomplete product if we choose Aomei Centralized Backupper as the solution we offer. Centralized Backupper should have its own specific recovery media.

This may be the reason Aomei Centralized Backupper moves down in our list of choices for backup software.

  • @Bahusafoo, AOMEI Centralized Backuppper can't directly do a  bare metal restore. You need to use AOMEI Backupper to create the WinPE bootable media and boot the target computer to do restore.
