Backupper: Safe To Delete Incomplete Merges?

Hello.

I was just wondering if it's safe to delete files that were created with the Merge Backups tool, but were unable to complete due to a lack of hard drive space on the backup disk.

Excerpt from the merge job aid: During the merging operation, AOMEI Backupper won’t delete the initial full backup, all versions of incremental backup, and the old backup task. After the images merging process is finished, you can manually delete the unnecessary backup versions for better management.  https://www.ubackup.com/features/merge-images.html

So If the original full backup and all of the incremental backups are still present and intact then you may want to validate them to insure that they are still good.  If they appear to still be good then you should be safe in deleting the incomplete merged files.
