WD hard drive not work while it’s all fine the day before
Hello everyone,
I’m new here for help. Yesterday, when I turned my new hard drive on, it did not boot. The Gateway boot screen flashes and a few other screens that follow also flashed. That’s all normal. However, instead of booting the OS, there’s only a flashing underscore and nothing else. I’ve tried different Sata cables and nothing happens. I can hear the HD turn on and spin so I know it’s physically working; but what can I do to rescues my hard drive.
PS: It’s a brand new drive and worked fine the day before the accident. If this can help.

What's the HD spin sound like? If its a grinding sound, there may be some dangerous just as Darylsonnier said.
