Cloned disk turns Reserved volume into C: drive?

Thought it looked odd when going through the Clone Disk wizard and it was showing the destination layout as C: (100 MB System Reserved) D: (953 GB) when cloning my Windows 7 SATA system disk with the default partitions.

Seems kind of amateur hour, thinking of turfing BackUpper for Clonezilla or shelling out for Acronis.

Windows Repair wants to convert the D: partition into the boot partition.  Am I missing something here?
