PE Builder 2 includes Backupper Server Trial not the Standard

Tried searching the forums for this problem but could not find anything.

I installed PE Builder on a fresh install of Windows 7 and performed Windows Updates to Jan 2019.  No other programs installed except AOMEI Backupper Standard 4.6.2 and AOMEI PE Builder 2.0.  Used AOMEI PE Builder 2.0 to create a bootable flash drive. Selected to download WinPE from the Internet, which was Windows 10 PE. After creating the flash drive and booting from it, tried to run Backupper that was included in the PE build but it indicated that it is a Server Trial and not the Standard (free) that is specified to be included. The Server Trail even indicates that the trial period has ended, meaning no hope to run it. This makes PE Builder useless for me as I don't need nor want the Server version of Backupper.

Is there a solution for this?

  • Has there been any update on this?
If current version of AOMEI Backupper is installed and licensed on computer, then what version and licence does AOMEI PE Builder put on the bootable image?

I have used PE Builder 2.0 hundreds of times, with many versions, and never experienced this issue. Dijk1fri, if you are concerned about this, just create a stick, and see if there is a problem.
Keep in mind, PE Builder 2 USB, and Backupper WinPE USB are different utilities.
    Backupper WinPE USB:
Add custom drivers, such as NVMe, if necessary. Does not work with some monitors.

Aomei WinPE Builder 2.0 USB, includes: Partition Assistant, Backupper, Recuva, OSF Mount, CPU-Z, Bootice. Does not support internal NVMe disks, or other additional drivers.
