How to uninstall partition assistant standard 5.5

Having restored my laptop to an earlier version I want to uninstall partition assistant.  However, the programs and features won't allow it, the 'uninstall 000.dat does not exist'.  I've tried reinstalling it but that won;t work either, as the installer detects there's a version already there, tries to remove it and fails.


Is there a cleanup programme or some other way of installing or uninstalling?


I'm runnig Windows 8.1

    Just run the batch file , you should find it here:

    "C:\Program Files (x86)\AOMEI Partition Assistant Standard Edition 5.5\uninstall.bat"
