does not delete old backups

I have space mgt set with full backups, but it does not delete the old backup and I keep running out of space on drive

    What's the size of D: drive? And how many backup versions are there in the destination folder?

    The drive is 750GB. there are  2 backups of 317Gb and 326GB. current free space is 30.9GB

    So D: drive is an external drive or a NAS? The drive letter changed maybe?

    this is a laptop with 2 internal drives

    if I manually delete 1 backup to get unused space I can manually run the backup

    Please delete the current backup(including images) and create a new one to see if it works.

    I deleted the folder wih the images and the backup.  I started from fresh and it still does not work.  Please give me the next level of support.  I need to get this fixed

    yes I am in Chicago and can be available from 5am to 9pm Central daylight time. Mon, Weds or Fri are the best days
