I have a problem with AOMEI backupper as it runs at max disk speed and therefore makes my system almost unusable while running a backup. It would be great to have the problem be a bit smarter and slow a bit down if the system is in use.
Two things: - First I assume you are using the recommended option to "Use VSS" and not the AOMEI option? Second what is your computer make, model, RAM and age? It may be a low specification, old machine, running Windows 10 which is struggling to run Backupper as well as other processes.
