Disk Backup check - Info Code:4104 Invalid image file. Standard Edition 4.0.6

When doing a disk backup and checking the image, I always get:
Invalid image file. This file may be not complete or has been damaged, or it does not match with the current software version.
I have tried uninstalling, then re-installing the program. I get the error when doing the backup and check or afterward when I use the utilities to check the image. I tried going into component services, COM security, and adding NETWORK SERVICE to the permissions. Then rebooted. I still get the error. Note that I can "explore the image" and see what appears to be my disk in total.
Any help would be appreciated.
