Unable to Create Bootable Media

When attemnpting to create a Windows PE bootable disc on my cd/dvd, aomei tells me "Detects that there is not any writable disc..."

The disc is writable.

Any ideas??

    While it's possible this is an AOMEI problem, I've found in the past when I've gotten this message in Windows when trying to burn a CD (DVD) that the problem was a bad disk. On one occasion, the drive was going bad. Some drives are finickey with some disks. Try another disk (or two) and see if that helps.

    Aomei doesn't burn disks itself. It calls the WIndows burn utility. Probably the disk is bad as Flyer told you. You can also make an ISO disk image first and then burn the ISO to the disk using alternative burn software.

    I have tried 2 discs: Sony DVD+R and Memorex DVD-RW.
