Partition Assistant, unable to repartition system drive...

I'm trying to repartition a new windows drive, something that I've done countless times with PA. It reboots the computer and starts to to the job but then aborts and flashes an error message on the screen for a fraction of a second before returning to windows. Something about "the version of your system is equal or higher". I suspect that it has something to do with the recent Windows 10 Fall Creators Edition update, but I'm not really sure since there's a lot more text in the error message, but it's not on the screen long enough to actually read.


Any help would be appreciated. As it is, I'm totally stalled out on setting up this system until I can repartition the drive.

    Please use Partition Assistant to create a bootable media, boot your computer from the media to do the operations.
