Setting up a backup scheme
I was trying to find the best way to backup my system. What do you think of the following.
1. Backup the entire disk using Disk backup, this ensures I can restore the entire disk if something goes wrong. Do this once to set a baseline. Perform a differential backup every month or so (since there are usually some sort of OS update). A full backup annually.
2. Perform a file backup on the data files. Do a full backup weekly and then differential backup daily. Probably set up a tower of Hanoi style backup where we do annually, monthly, and weekly.
Archive the disk backup to another drive annually and store it off-site.

I think Disk Backup will contain all data files, so no need to perform a file backup?
