Resize C: Volume

I have VM that I need to resize the C volume.  I have a F: volume and I have added more space to overal partition but how can I increase C: volume when I don't have available space next to it?    I tried to move f: but of course don't have the space to do that.  Is this possible with this software?

    Create a new virtual disk and clone (or backup and restore) the original disk to the new one. Then delete the old one and set the new disk as boot disk.

    so your saying I can't use this software to accomplish this with a single disk?
