System or Disk clone using a Thermaltake BlacX Dual 5G docking station
I am trying to do a disk clone with the second drive in a docking station (Thermaltake BlacX Dual 5G). The program will not recognize the hard disk drive for the destination drive. The docking station is connected via a USB 3.0 cable. I tried to do a system clone and got the same results. Is this possible or do I need to connect the hard drive into the machine? I don't think that I have another set of SATA cables to hook both drives up at the same time. Is there a workaround? I wouldn't think that I am the first person to do the clone with an docking station. The hard drive that I would like to use as the destination is an internal HDD as well as the original. Any help would be greatly appreciated! Thank you.
