Wipe out C Drive

I want to dispose of my desk top computer and I'd like to give it away but when I try to Wipe the "C" Partition using AOEMI Partition Assistant when I highlight the C Drive, the "Wipe Partition" option is not highlighted.  Any suggestions would be helpful. Thank you.

    Try DBAN https://dban.org. You create a boot disk and go from there. Read web instructions carefully. Google how to use it. Uses keyboard only. Works great.

    But the question remains, how should Aomei do this if the option Wipe Partition is visible but not available. Here too. It looks like this is by design: Wipe Partition is only available on data partitions, not on the current OS partition. Wipe Disk however is available on the current OS partition.

    Please try "Wipe Hard Drive" or do the operation in AOMEI Partition Assistant WinPE.
