Syncronize backup scheme to start of month

Hello,

I want to start an incremental backup scheme with a full  backup on the first of each month.  Incrementals then run on the 2nd of the month through the END of the month.

Example:    April1=Full1, April2-30=(30 incrementals of Full1)

                    May1=Full2, May2-31=(31 incrementals of Full2)

Question:     Your Schemes all seem to use a simple count as the number of backups made before deleting the Full and restarting the sequence.  Since the days in a month vary, your scheme does not appear to handle the different month sizes.  It instead will not reset exactly on the start of the each month.


Can you improve your scheduler to allow backup schemes to remain synchronous with 30, 31, (and 28) day months?

I think this could be a pretty common request.

    Sorry for the late reply. Yes, you are right, the software cannot help you in that way. We will improve it in the future to support the month scheme. Thanks for your support on the product.
