Extend system/boot partition C: on RAID1

Hello Experts,

Came across a server with C: drive almost full.

OS is windows server 2012 R2

Configured with RAID1 and 2 volumes C and D

D has 50% space free and planning to use 25% from free space on D to be merged with C


Q: What are the Risks on performing this task on RAID1 config.
