System restore error code 215

Hello,
yesterday I had to reinstall Windows, and then I tried to restore the system backup, I'd made earlier, but after the analyzing volume phase, it has stopped with the error code 215:too many fragments on the volume. After that, I've defragmented my C drive, where I wanted to restore the backup to, but it failed again, with the same error.
I have a 120GB SSD as my C, and a 1TB HDD as my D drive, and the backup is on an external 3TB HDD drive.
I've checked the image with the built-in tool, and it said, that it's correct.

  • If the sytem cannot boot, please delete the C drive and then get the unallocated space. And then do the restore again.

  • Thanks, but I've figured out, that if I restore the system to my D drive, and then migrate it to the D drive, then it also works.
