In version 4 you can doubleclick on the top of any column in order to make it sort that way.
If you want to sort on a date in a correct manner make sure that the date format is dd.mm.yyyy and not d.m.yyyy. Even better would be yyyy.mm.dd but that could upset other programs... You can change the date format in the control panel, regional settings.

Currently, the order is random. We'll improve it in the future.
In Utilities is another Show Logs, where you have Today, Last Week, Last Month and so on. Sorting is not random, but not by date format.
