system restore to smaller disk
How do I do a system restore to a smaller disk, using the recue media CD. Original disk was 150 GB with 60 GB used, the new disk is 120 GB. Id do not find an explanation and help.

Hello,
In your situation you may have to restore the partitions individually.When you restore the system image and when it prompt "would you like to do a system restore?" answer "NO", then go to the next step and restore the two partitions one by one. After you finished the restoration, you need to rebuild MBR and BCD file. Finally you are able to boot from the new disk.
