Partition Unaccessible After Restoring Files to It

Backupper completes a Restore (files to an empty partition) operation successfully but the partition then becomes unaccessible and I have to format it. That leaves me with essentially no Restore function. The backup was done with Backupper, and all partitions were created with AOMEI Partitioner.

What can I do to eliminate this problem?

    1) mount the image and pull the files. in  Backupper it is Utilities->Explore Image ->Path.

    2) to find out what was your error:

    - tell more about how the restore was done (Windows ??, Windows PE). Tell more about what data were backed up and how.

    - format the target partition to the right file system (NTFS usually) (use Windows Disk Management for this) and repeat the Files restore, just to try.
