create image of complete drive onto partition on the same drive

hi can someone please give me a step by step idea on how to image a hard drive with windows 8.1 onto a parition on the same drive, but make that partition hidden. i have access to backrupper free as well as the partition free from aomei. also, any info on whats needed for recovery is greatly appreciated. thanks!

    Hi,

    Yes, you can run Backupper to make a Disk Backup, when you make the backup, you can select the destination partition on the same disk. After making the backup successfully, you can run Partition Assistant to hide the partition where you stored the backup image: right click the partition--Advanced--Hide Partition
