hold on "system updating, please wait" for very long time

I am using AOMEI partition assistant to resizing my hard drive from 681GB to 600 GB
Before the job, it shows the estimated time is around 2 hours, but bynow I am in preOS mode to run the job for 24 hours....

It showing 96% in progress bar and showing "system updating, please wait..." 


Is it normal for this situation? What should I do for this?
And can I stop the job at this moment?
