PE Recovery media and Windows 10

I just updated the Backupper program to the latest version my Win 7 laptop. I had made a PE Recovery DVD before that.

Can I just use that DVD to recover also systems backed up with the newest version of Backupper?

If I upgrade my Win 7 to Win 10, do I need to create a new PE Recovery media after that, or can I still use the one I created when still on Win 7? Obviously I still need to create a new system backup in any case as the OS has been upgraded.
