Only some files are bakced up

I am using version 3.1 on Win10. I set up a File Synch for five folders.
One of those folders has multiple subfolders (775 total) and many files
(6806). Some of those files are at the top level (not in subfolders).
When creating a File Synch copy, only two of the top level files are
copied (out of eight), and only three of the top level subfolders are
copied, at which point, the synch exits as "successful". When I move
that top folder to its own File Synch, it copies exactly the same two
files and three folders. This folder sits at the root of C:.

  • What types of files are not sync after you compare the source and destination folder?

I have a similar problem (W10) some files copy, while others do not. In my case some .mp3's move over to the NAS device while others remaing behind on the source disk. Trying another sync does not move them or solve the problem. The sync is just a simple backup of the iTunes Music library.

In total 300 or so .mp3 are left on the source disc and do not move. Trying another sync does not move them or solve the problem. The sync is just a simple backup of an iTunes Music library.
